READY TO SHINE IN INTERVIEW

Be Interview ready !!

Getting ready for the interviews specially if you are a fresher, can be maddening. People lose their nerve and freeze. In all honesty, when you find yourself in a new or unfamiliar position, it’s quite normal to feel anxious.
I’ve got you covered in every way, though!

Here are some words of advice on how to shine in interviews.

  1. DRESSED WELL : The adage “Your first impression is your last impression” is certainly true. Whether it’s a virtual or in-person interview, it’s imperative for a candidate to present themselves professionally. Your appearance speaks for you even before you say a word. Being neat and dressed nicely will help you catch the interviewer’s attention in a positive way. This demonstrates your dedication and discipline.
  2. GREETINGS:  Your interview should always begin and end with a greeting. This gives the discussion a more natural feel. Be respectful and thank the interviewer for taking the time to schedule this important conversation.
  3. INTRODUCTION : There are more things besides name, college degree, and present employment position that should be addressed in the introduction. Candidates typically struggle when asked about themselves. Interviewers are generally interested in learning about your hobbies, interests, family, strengths, and limitations. Always inquire about the interviewer’s family as well as his work. This builds rapport and demonstrates your confidence.
  4. ABOUT THE COMPANY: It is advised that one should conduct thorough research on the business. The candidate must be well-versed in the company’s specifications, what the company does, its vision and goals, company size, growth statistics, etc. It makes a good impression on the interviewer and demonstrates the applicant’s zeal.
  5. DOCUMENTS: Don’t forget to bring your resume or CV even if you have sent it via mail. Keep a set of scanned documents close at hand. This shows the applicant is committed, enthusiastic, and well-prepared for the interview.
  6. COMMUNICATION: The capacity to articulate your thoughts effectively is your ticket to success. When communicating, one should use simple, sage phrases. While speaking, don’t hesitate to take pause. It is rather important to frame your ideas or points before expressing. Avoid missing the essential idea. When a candidate is upfront about his expectations, interviewers respect it. It aids them in better understanding and evaluating the candidate.
  7. APPROPRIATE QUERIES : Posing pertinent questions demonstrates a candidate’s motivation and willingness. Asking questions about the company’s work culture, rules, and other topics will help you gain a deeper grasp of the company and will show the interviewer that you are an inquisitive person, which they’ll like.
